Sturt Marion Soccer Club

History

Sturt Marion Thunder Soccer Club became an incorporated body in February of 2002.

Sturt Marion Soccer Club was established in 1986 and is located at Marion Sports and Community Centre (opposite Marion City Council Chambers, Sturt Road). The club currently competes in SAASL’s Saturday Division 1 finishing second in the second division.

The club rooms and bar facilities shared at the Marion Sports and Community Centre may possibly be the best in the league and to that we thank the complex for their support. Without our sponsors, our club would not be viable and for this we give thanks to: McKibbin Real Estate, Flight Centre Gouger Street, Patritti Wines, The Good Guys Edwardstown.

2006 marks the clubs 20th Anniversary and the club will be celebrating this through out the year. Details to follow and all past and present players are invited.
